        The Fortress Group of Companies Ltd. is a multi-faceted company based near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It offers services and products to select market segments through its Operating Divisions. The Fortress Group of Companies Ltd. operates globally to offer products and services which meet the needs of its clients. It has been in operation since 1997 and has won the respect and admiration of clients through superior and personal service.



Objective

To provide high-quality, innovative and effective products and services in an efficient manner to its clients operating in select market segments.

        Corporate resources within the Fortress Group provide administrative, logistic and training support to the various operating divisions allowing them to concentrate on their operations. The Fortress Group of Companies Ltd. currently has the following Operating Divisions;

  • Bastion Security
  • Glacis Technologies

        To ensure the highest quality of service and expertise associated with the Fortress Group, the company is concentrating on select areas. The core competencies defined by the Company complement those of other operating divisions and ensure that the client receives services which allow them to concentrate on their core competencies and perform their tasks in an efficient and enhanced manner. Extensive training programs are offered to members and clients to ensure they not only master their chosen task, but have an education ranging across the breadth of the Company.

        In effect, the Core competencies of the Fortress Group are deifned by the Core Competencies of its individual operating divisions, and are summarized in the following section.



Operating Divisions

        The Fortress Group of Companies Ltd. markets its services and products through its operating divisions as listed below. The Corporate Headquarters of the Fortress Group provides the necessary direction and coordination of effort and command and control elements to ensure that all of the logistical and administrative support elements are in place. Mutual support is one of the key principles of operations of the company and all operating divisions share knowledge, skill and experience throughout the company to ensure that standards remain high.

        Bastion Security

        Providing effective protection to clients; operating in high-risk situations, or remote sites globally through innovatove and high-quality products and services within the following Core Competencies;

  • Security Operations Management;
  • Asset Protection, including any combination of the following asset types;
    • Fixed Assets;
    • Portable Assets;
    • Human Assets, and
    • Intellectual Assets.
  • Security Intelligence;
  • Consulting;
  • Training, and
  • Security Operation Service Support.

        Glacis Technologies

        As Glacis Technologies is an Operations Support division of The Fortress Group of Companies Ltd. its specific Core Competencies are closely aligned to the Core Competencies of the Operating Divisions it supports, which are primarily Security and Intelligence in nature. In general, Glacis Technologies provides the following products and services;

  • Product Research and Development, to include any, or all, of the following aspects;
    • Identify and Source External sources;
    • Design to specifications;
    • Prototype;
    • Assemble;
    • Manufacture, and
    • Test innovative new products.

  • Technical Support Services, to include any, or all, of the following aspects;
    • Training;
    • Maintenance / Repair;
    • Upgrade, and
    • Other services as required to ensure that the operator is proficient in the use of the product and the products function in the desired manner.
